REGISTRATION INQUIRIES

Thank you for your interest in KinderHaus Montessori. Enroling your child with us is a simple 3-step process. These steps will help you understand the Montessori Method, our school, our unique programs so that you can make a well-informed decision that is best suited for your child.

STEP 1 – TOUR

First please call 647-899-9390 to arrange a tour of our school. Weekday evenings, weekends, or holidays are the best times for this visit.

Since children will not be at school, we can dedicate our time to you without any interruptions. Feel free to ask a lot of questions to understand Montessori education, our school, and our approach to nurturing children.

At the end of the tour, we will offer you a visit to observe our classroom.

STEP 2 – OBSERVE

In this visit, you can observe our classroom, children, and their interaction with teachers. This will allow you to understand how a Montessori classroom functions and what we mean by “nurturing one child at a time.”

The observation visits are scheduled for 20 minutes during the morning work cycle, usually between 9:15 am and 10:15 am. You will need to follow a few guidelines given below that will allow you to observe the classroom without disturbance so that you can get the most out of your visit.

STEP 3 – ENROL

We will give you our Enrolment Package at the end of your Observation visit to take home.

Consider all your options. Please feel free to call us if you have any questions. We will help you make a well-informed decision that is best for your child.

Once you are convinced that our school is the right fit for your child, complete the set of enrolment forms and submit it to the school along with your non-refundable registration fee and non-refundable tuition deposit.

OBSERVATION GUIDELINES

Please arrive on time as scheduled for your observation.
Each classroom has a specific spot with a chair for observations. Upon arrival, we will guide you to the observation chair.
Please observe in silence. Do not speak to children as this can disrupt the normal functioning of the classroom. If a child approaches you, softly tell the child that you want to watch them work quietly.
Please do not walk around in the classroom. Should you wish to observe from another angle, please ask one of the staff, and we will try to seat you at another spot.
You are welcome to bring a notepad to take notes or write down questions.
At the end of the observation, please quietly walk to the front vestibule. The Directress will meet you there to answer any questions.

ENTROLMENT PROCESSING

KinderHaus Montessori does not maintain a waitlist or charge a waitlist fee for registrations as required by section 75.1 of Ontario Regulation 137/15 under Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014. We process all enrolments in the order the application is received with full payments.

Please note that although we can take your name on a list to inform you when a spot becomes available, we cannot guarantee a spot until your fully completed enrolment package is received with cheques for the non-refundable registration fee and the non-refundable tuition prepayment. We cannot provide verbal guarantees.

If your application is received late and we no longer have a spot available for your child, we will return your application along with a full refund of your registration fee and the tuition prepayment.
